Severance pay in Turkish law

Severance pay is paid by the employer as a reward for the employee's loyalty and labor. The payment is, however, the result of certain conditions.
Unemployment, as in many countries, is also a serious problem in Turkey. According to recent indicators, the unemployment rate has reached a level of 13.4 percent.
