How calculated the severance pay?

Q: Dear Sadettin Orhan,
I found your info about calculating the severance pay in English. Thank you for that. I still have question – If our worker started the work 24 July and will end 30 June – how do I do the calculation if I have  - 2 full years + 5 months + 6 days?

A: Dear Sir, thanks for your commendation. Assuming that you pay 1000 Turkish Liras per month, you should pay 2.433,11 Turkish Liras in total as severance pay (for 2 full years + 5 months + 6 days). Best regards.
